Hi Greg, I just installed the trial version of Xmanager (nice software), it connects to my machine (actually I configured my Pshyche to accept only SSH and anonymous FTP connections, on a PentiumIII) however I got the following error: Remote command has been requested. /usr/bin/X11/xterm Xt error: Can't open display : localhost:10.0 Any suggestions on how to solve this ? Patrick: thanks, I alsowill give a try to vnc or tightvnc. Cheers, Alberto At 09:40 PM 12/9/02 +0200, you wrote:
Hi, Alberto I think you may find useful some kind of "graphical telnet" configuration. This way you can have several users connect to single Linux server and perform their work independently. I can suggest you can try Xmanager or Hummingbird. Cheers, Greg -----Original Message----- From: psyche-list-admin@redhat.com [mailto:psyche-list-admin@redhat.com] On Behalf Of Alberto M. R. We have a windows world here, then I wanted to have my linux server used by the users with Windows machines, that way... they dont need to install RH in each machine... vmware is shareware.... I will give it a try, if anyone know about a freeware, please kindly let me know. Cheers, Alberto At 08:56 AM 12/9/02 -0800, you wrote: >--- "Alberto M. R.
