Hi, I've spent the better part of the day
yesterday trying to get the modem on my HP Omnibook XE2 which turns out to be a
ESS MAESTRO Sound Card/Modem Combo Device. ESS 1978 I think was the model.
Anyways, I've searched through numerous forums and links and even
downloaded drivers that were supposed to work (on Redhat 7.3 2.4.18-3
which was what I have installed), but couldn't get it working. Anyone else
have any luck with it? Or any pointers?
