Looks like they added a trigger to the package in 1998. A post-uninstall trigger to work around shortcomings of older portmap packages (<= 4.0-22). The added triggerpostun script, however, should not be executed when removing portmap 4.0-46 because that is a version higher than 4.0-22. Something is wrong there, probably even in RPM itself. The Valhalla package also has the trigger, but uninstalls fine, and I see this line: D: NO A portmap = 4.0-41 B portmap <= 4.0-22 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=78222 - -- -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE922+E0iMVcrivHFQRAqt7AJ9igx+GKS91FR+/Xsntj+6XJ4HIYwCdFgHH nW2MMiUCv6z2W5Y4k+G5MXE= =ZKuK -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- Psyche-list mailing list Psyche-list@redhat.com https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/psyche-list
