- From the package changelog the exact life-cycle of the trigger
doesn't become clear. Looks like they added a trigger to the package
in 1998. A post-uninstall trigger to work around shortcomings of
older portmap packages (<= 4.0-22). The added triggerpostun script,
however, should not be executed when removing portmap 4.0-46 because
that is a version higher than 4.0-22.

Something is wrong there, probably even in RPM itself. 

The Valhalla package also has the trigger, but uninstalls fine, and
I see this line:

D:   NO     A portmap = 4.0-41  B portmap <= 4.0-22
