I searched and all I could see was that you have to hand edit the config
files in either /etc/X11/desktop-menus/ or ~/.gnome2.

That can't be right.  Is it?  Is this a major GNOME 2 bug or what?  How
is it possible that you can't edit menus via some GUI?  Surely the GNOME
2 developers didn't mean for that to stay that way...
