Correct. I installed gtk+-devel, gtk2-devel and changed the line in
the makefile which lists the EXTRA_INCLUDE paths to the output of
"gtk-config --cflags" . Now it compiles and (pending further testing)
seems to work. Thanks, Havoc. To learn something more: what is the
difference between "gtk-config --cflags" and "pkg-config --cflags
gtk+-2.0"?
