Yes it should, however it occurs to me that perhaps your lonely Athlon
MP is in CPU socket 1 instead of socket 0? Please check your manual.

Somebody send me a system with Dual Athlons, and I'll be happy to test
it. Normal certification program rules apply however, I'm not allowed to
do it for free.
