Same thing happends here with a machine at work
and I'm begining to think there is something turned off
by default that makes it so it won't tell the motherboard
to power off. All the other OSs that are apart of that
machine to seem to have no problem doing a power off.

The machine has a swap bay so I can switch HDDs to
switch between OSs promptly for beta testing and so forth. :)
