Good evening: I probably shouldn't have done this... but hear me out: I went to psyche.freshrpms.net and downloaded all the ALSA driver and kernel RPMs for my machine. I installed all the RPMs, but never went through the configuration changes required to use the new drivers. Anyhow, after performing this install, I can no longer run XMMS. Running it from the command prompt yields the following message: ** WARNING **: snd_mixer_attach: No such file or directory Any ideas? Or should I fuggetabout it and reinstall? Sean
