Another question for you experts out there ... I have an ATI Radeon 7500 QW and an ATI Radeon 9200SE. As my previpous message said, the 9200SE seems to work OK with the current XFree86 in Fedora Core and the 7500 has work also. The 7500 supports dri and the /var/log/XFree86.log information supports that. The information in /usr/share/hwdata/Cards indications that the 9200 may not yet support dri (has the line 'LINE #Option "nodri"'). However, the information in /var/log/XFree86.log looks pretty much as it does with the 7500 ... it indicates that dri is supported. Question ...
