Yes.

We don't support GATOS drivers, so you may have problems using 
them, and may need to go to the GATOS project for support.

"XFree86 -configure" is very useless for all practical purposes.

Plug in your monitor, and run "redhat-config-xfree86 --reconfig" 
from the commandline.  After that, it should just work without 
doing anything special.  Just tested locally and it works for me.
