Hi. I'm trying to get an external monitor (Sony Multiscan 400PS) working with a Dell Latitude 610 laptop running RedHat 7.2. I've got Mark Harris' RPMs of XFree86 installed: [rs@lucknow rs]$ rpm -qa | grep -i xfree86 XFree86-ISO8859-15-100dpi-fonts-4.1.0-3 XFree86-4.1.99.2-0.2.3 XFree86-xf86cfg-4.1.99.2-0.2.3 XFree86-75dpi-fonts-4.1.0-3 XFree86-ISO8859-15-75dpi-fonts-4.1.0-3 XFree86-xfs-4.1.99.2-0.2.3 XFree86-tools-4.1.99.2-0.2.3 XFree86-xdm-4.1.99.2-0.2.3 XFree86-Xvfb-4.1.99.2-0.2.3 XFree86-100dpi-fonts-4.1.0-3 XFree86-libs-4.1.99.2-0.2.3 XFree86-twm-4.1.99.2-0.2.3 Running Xconfigurator, I can get X to start at 640x480 resolution at 8, 16, and 24-bit color depth, but no other resolution will work.
