Free/low cost healthcare. Taxes are paid by all, but only available to poor
in the US (not that I want it either).

Fuel pricers are higher with higher taxes in europe. But you can
live without a car there. You have state sponsored public transportation
and don't need to travel as far.

It mostly balances out today.
