There is no 64bit plugin for Java. Sun don't recognize that the world is moving
to 64bit computing, at least not on Linux.
You will need to install a 32bit version of the browser, and the 32bit
JVM+plugin. This means that you also have to have the 32bit runtime support
libraries installed.
