How do I do that Gerry? My /etc/hosts file seems ok. Resolv.conf lists
my ISP's nameservers. What can I do to pin this down?
Hello.
Is the domain that sendmail resolves a fully qualified domain ?. In
example if your IP is 192.168.1.1 the /etc/hosts must be:
192.168.1.1 machine.domain.com
or
192.168.1.1 machine.localhost.localdomain
Cheers.
I believe you need the FQDN and the base hostname. Check out the
following site
