New hard-drive problem

I have just purchased a new hard drive for my old Toshiba Pro Satellite 460CDT. I obviously use it in command line mode and every so often the following is printed on the screen:

ide0: unexpected interrupt, status=0x80, count=1
hda: no DRQ after issuing WRITE
ide0: reset: success

I assume I need to upgrade the bios but Im not sure and don't know where I can obtain an upgrade for my bios. Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing this or just know how i can stop it printing in the screen? Thanks
