I see what you mean, on the product page it says it supports it but if
you go to the chart is doesn't, from the looks of it anything usb isn't
supported on linux, great job belkin.  Best bet might be to give their
tech support a call at this point.  As for the CD they probably print
one cd for all of their ups's to save money but confuse customers.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help, if you resolve this I would love to
hear how.

When I looked in the Belkin website at first, they indicated that this
model supported Linux.  And, indeed, on the CD-ROM that came with it,
there is a Linux version of the software.  However, when I look at the
same product now on their website, from a different route, I don't see
indication of Linux support (though I've seen some product reviews that
mention it).
