Hi. I just installed RH9 and installed a basic server. I almost immediately downloaded and install apt and ran 'atp-get update sendmail'. It subsequently downloaded about 52 packages and installed them. I then changed the /etc/mail/sendmail.mc file to allow connections from places other than localhost. I rebuilt sendmail.cf using m4 and then restarted sendmail and got the following error. [root@localhost /etc/mail]# service sendmail restart Shutting down sendmail: [ OK ] Shutting down sm-client: [FAILED] Starting sendmail: [ OK ] Starting sm-client: No local mailer defined QueueDirectory (Q) option must be set [FAILED] [root@localhost /etc/mail]# So now I've spent about 1 hour looking for an answer with absolutely no luck. Can someone shed some light on this? Did apt-get screw it up? Should I just start over with the install and do something in a different order?
