Hi Guys, I have a couple of services running that transmit login/password information and I would like to use something like snoop to make sure that this information is not transmitted in clear test like telnet does. I usually use snoop for my sun boxes but I have a redhat linux 8.0 box and I would like to get something similar to snoop that I can use for this purpose. Any recommendations? Am I correct in the assumption that tcpdump will not catch this kind of a transmission (login/password)?
