I suppose u r connecting to Samba share using Windows Desktop. Incase ur desktop is WINNT / WIN2K / WINXP then u can try the option Connected as ( This option specifies u to mention additional username other then which u r connected) while mapping n/w drive. I Suppose it should work, anyways do give me the feed back.
