removing a disk

Hi all,

I have 2 disk drives on my system (RH 7.3)--sda and sdb.  Red Hat boots
from sdb.  I used sda for an old version of Red Hat and I want to
phyiscally remove sda from the system (due to noise).  Before I physically
remove it, I know that I have to change references to in in:

/etc/mtab
/etc/grub.conf
/etc/fstab

are there any other places that I have missed?

Thanks for the sanity check,

Mark

Hi Mark,

You'll want to check the /boot/grub/device.map and /boot/grub/menu.lst for correct references to sda, since the current sdb will become sda.  I think that completes the list I changed when I did this last summer.
