How do I remove Anti-aliased fonts from RH 9?

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

All,

I have a small server at home that almost always runs in run level 3. The
only time I use the GUI is via an occasional TightVNC (1.2.8) session
tunneled over ssh. I have been noticing that sometimes my vnc session
crashes horribly, requiring a total reboot to get any Gnome session back
again. I've done some research which suggests that it's being caused by the
anti-aliasing fonts, but I haven't seen how to disable those fonts.

Can anybody point me to a HOWTO or something that'll tell me how to turn off
the anti-aliasing fonts?

Thanks!

Ben
