Just for clarification, it's p for package, not provides. The -p flag is
use when querrying an uninstalled rpm package.

- -p and --provides can be used together to find out what capabilities a
given rpm package provides, like so:
$ rpm -qp --provides nano-1.2.0-1.i386.rpm
nano = 1.2.0-1
