Steve: It worked! Your post was incredibly helpful .. I have never had a problem like this before. I wasn't sure which Intel driver was the proper one for my system, but the one you found worked perfect. I put together an RPM per the instructions for Red Hat, installed the RPM, rebooted, and Kudzu found the "new" NIC. Pulling up2date's now.
