RH 8.0 Vs RH9.0 Zombies

All,

I have had an inordinate number of Zombie Processes on Red Hat 9.0 Vs Red
Hat 8.0. I used to run RH 8.0 for a year or so, and never even seen a
single defunct process, now that I've been running RH 9.0 for about a month
(or a few weeks anway), I've had to restart the LINKSYSMON daemon almost
daily and the SPAMD daemon died last nite (went zombie) and interrupted my
/cron.daily somehow.....(when I restarted the spamassassin process the
cron.daily work fired of and completed error free....)

Any clue on what's causing my zombies in RH9...I ran the same programs in
RH8 error and zombie free....??

Brett
