I'm not sure why the SPAMD daemon died yet, but I know why the LINKSYSMON-WATCH process is getting stuck.....turns out that subroutine in LINKSYSMON that calls the watch function is flawed somewhere in the perl code. It calls and sends the email, but never exits. I'm looking at it and sent an email to the author of Linsksymon, but have not received an answer yet. Just FYI, in case anyone was wondering........
