i am using redhat8. and everytime i try connect to the
internet, pppd dies and get authentaction error(19)
that my password or login name is wrong. althou, i use
the same passwd and login name when i use the internet
from xp windows and works perfectely. i use an
external serial us robotics i can see the light of
the modem works till the connections to isp.
Also, i tried MINICOM to dial the ISP, it dials then,
i prompted for login name and passwd. And when i type
login name and passwd,i get a messge of invalid
uername or passwd.
even i tried my linux on different computer, i get the
same error.
any help will appreciated.
