Changing the kjournald commit interval

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi all,

I am using Redhat 9 with a scsi drive setup and am having a problem with constant disk access. I have done some research and have found that if I change the kjournald commit interval from 5 seconds to something like 30 seconds that this would help a lot. The only way I seem to find to accomplish this is to recompile the kernel. Does anyone know of another method to do this without recompiling?

Regards,

Jim
