=>Assuming that you only have one harddrive installed, please do the
=>following:
=>
=>Boot into the system with the RedHat cd 1 of 3 and at the boot promtp type:
=>
=>linux rescue
=>
=>Follow and answer the prompts (skip CD check if asked). Eventually you will

=>At the command prompt type:
=>chroot /mnt/sysimage
=>Once this is done, then type:
=>grub-install /dev/hda (Again, assuming you only have one hard drive
=>installed)

I'm also confused in a related way: I just added a disk to my system. I
used to have an sda and sdb. I just added an sdc. Here's my df output:

530 > df
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda3              22G  1.9G   19G  10% /
/dev/sda1              99M   17M   78M  18% /boot
/dev/hda1             3.7G  2.3G  1.3G  66% /f
/dev/hda2              70G   58G  8.2G  88% /g
/dev/sdc1             8.4G  3.1G  5.0G  38% /home
/dev/sdb1             8.4G  2.5G  5.5G  32% /home2
/dev/sdc2              26G   33M   24G   1% /h
none                  504M     0  504M   0% /dev/shm
/dev/sda6             9.9G  7.7G  1.8G  82% /usr
/dev/sda5            1011M  669M  291M  70% /var

Do I need to do anything regarding grub now that sdc has been added? Does
grub need to be reinstalled?
