I have eight total disks in the system, including two ~250GB SSDs. The
others are 2TB and 4TB. I don't plan on using RAID on any of them, but
may in the future.

This is really just desktop stuff, but who likes to wait? :-)

Do you believe the 9220 is better than the onboard Intel?

It looks like I can get one from China on ebay for $40 if I'm willing
to wait a month:
