Hi Guys,

Has any of you used an Adaptec 1430SA, Marvell 88SX7042 based adapter?

Here is an example link to it:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16816103105&cm_re=Adaptec_1430SA-_-16-103-105-_-Product

What about any other Marvell 88SX7042 based adapter for that matter?

It appears to be supported in the Linux kernel since around 2.6.23, and garners positive reviews from some Linux users. I want to hear any horror stories or endorsements from you guys.

Many thanks,
Iordan Iordanov
