I recently bought one of their cheaper cards (Rocket100) thinking "there's a driver in the kernel, it looks supported" only to find the current kernel driver does not work and neither do their binary drivers (driver disks) for Red Hat 8.0 or 9. I ended up filing a bugzilla report with Red Hat and ordering a Promise Ultra100TX2 to replace the HPT. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Jon Lewis *jlewis@lewis.org*| I route Senior Network Engineer | therefore you are Atlantic Net | _________ http://www.lewis.org/~jlewis/pgp for PGP public key_________ - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-raid" in the body of a message to majordomo@vger.kernel.org More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html
