Partition table

Hi folks,

I'm having a hard time with my sw RAID5 system. I built a RAID5 out of 4
disks which are 120 GB Maxtor drives. Since I had one Ultra100 and need to
buy a second I tool myself to the next store.... Hmmm they only had Ultra
100 TX2 ... OK.. I took one of those and set it up. I had to fiddle with
some patches and at least I get the controllers and drives to work properly.
Now the bad scene started... my mainboard got broken.... so I changed the
board. After that change nothing is working fine anymore.... Two of my four
drives do not show any partition table anymore .... the drives show
different C/H/S Numbers when using fdisk and so on... Well since I don't
want to loose my data I need the system to get up and running again. Has
anyone of you any good idea what to do about it? Is the different C/H/S
number related to lost partition table ? How can get the drives get
recognized correctly by the adapter? Is there anything else I can try?

So far .. thanks in advance ...

Steve
