mdadm 0.7.1 is now available at http://www.cse.unsw.edu.au/~neilb/sources/mdadm/ There are even RPMs in an RPM subdirectory, thanks to some guidance from Chris Siebenmann and others. This is 0.7.1 instead of 0.8 because there are some half-finished extensions. In particular there are some very incomplete man pages, which is some sense can be worse than none (It look unprofessional). My main goal before I call it 1.0 is to make sure --follow works properly. I also want to: add --query as discussed earlier on this list flesh out mdadm.conf.5 and md.4 man pages.
