PJ/Alsa uses 8 channel on sound device, must use only 1

PJ/Alsa uses 8 channel on sound device, but it must use only 1 as the other channels are dedicated to other operations.

I'm still wondering if this is by design in pjsip, because the other 7 channels are shared by other alsa-using applications.

I thinking I wish set_snd_dev took a string instead of an integer, so dev/channel could be specified as
set_snd_dev("0.0","0.0")
instructing use of only the first channel on the first hardware device.

Any ideas where to look?
