Compilation error on MinGW

Hi Saul,

Honestly I have no idea about the error too. So just FYI, I've just tried
to build with the latest SVN on MinGW with same configure params and empty
config_site.h & user.mak, and it builds successfully. Note that I upgraded
my MinGW installation few weeks ago, it has gcc 4.8.1 & make 3.81, just in
case it's something to do with MinGW version.
