Via rport parameter & TCP

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello,

To my understanding the rport parameter of the Via header is irrelevant
when a request is sent over TCP transport.
PJSIP is putting the parameter into the header, regardless of the
transport used. This is actually allowed but we have just run into a SIP
client that crashes when it receives a SIP request over TCP with the rport
parameter present in the Via header.
Unfortunately it is pretty difficult to get a fix from the client vendor
so I am wondering if it would be possible to change the PJSIP logic to
insert the rport parameter only when UDP transport is used.

Thanks,
Zoltan
