Jose- > Thanks all, but what is the bandwith for g722 or g711? g711 or g722 are > licensed?? G722 is free, patents (from late 1980s) have expired. G711 also has no license costs. Both G711 and G722 use 64 kbit/sec RTP packet data rate (80 byte payload every 10 msec). Total ethernet bandwidth is around 95 kbit/sec. G711 has an Appendix I, which can be used for packet loss concealment. -Jeff > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Jeff Brower" <jbrower@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > To: "Adrian Georgescu" <ag at ag-projects.com> > Cc: <pjsip at lists.pjsip.org> > Sent: Thursday, June 24, 2010 2:11 PM > Subject: [SPAM] - Re: Codecs - Email found in subject > > > Adrian- > > > >> > 1) G711 has highest voice quality.
