SUPPORT for SIP-I internetworking.

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

SIP-I a.k.a SIP-T RFC3372 is intended to carry SS7 (mainly, although i've seen QSIG and others protocols as well ) information inside of sip messages by using multipart MIME body to include this new additional payload. With that being said pjsip has very limited involvement namely multipart support. The rest is responsibly of the higher layers , i.e. UA , call control to insert the proper payload. to be passed to pjsip.

also if you are looking interested in inter networking I would start by reading RFC3398 , then you can also read Q1912.5
