Generic Application for Symbian Platform - How to reduce the cost

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi All,

Its again a problem. The sis file builded by MR SDK with APS enabled is not
installing on the FP1 SDK devices. I have already installed the APSServer
for FP1 already.
I am briefly telling what i have done

a. Compiled code only With MR SDK only and create only SIS File.

b. Regarding APS, While Deploying the SIS File ,I have different versions of
APS Server File. like Example.

   - MR CReated SIS File + APS MR SISX File
   - MR CReated SIS File + APS FP1 SISX File
   - MR CReated SIS File + APS FP2 SISX File

but only first option works and the othe fails.

I think when compling pjsip code for APS enable we also link the MR
compatible APS libraries so that they make it compatible only on the MR SDK
devices. What I am thinking that we must build the pjsip code with all the
SDK with proper links to thier APS libraies and the use that SIS file with
different APSServer.sisx for all the different 3rd edition and 5th edition
phones.

Our approach sould be like:

   - MR,FP1,FP2,5th edtion SDK CReated SIS File + APS MR SISX File
   - MR,FP1,FP2,5th edtion SDK CReated SIS File + APS FP1 SISX File
   - MR,FP1,FP2,5th edtion SDK CReated SIS File + APS FP2 SISX File

Please comment will it work or not. I want special consideration from
vishal, bharat, mukesh and srivastavan who are the geeks in this regard.

Regards:
ravi
