Please tell me more about your approach. You do not like the AMR VAD approach generating Full sample, Confort Noise Sample and Silence Descriptor? I am using it over GSM CSD (with http://privategsm.com) with APS and it works fine, even if on some device it does not work as the VAD is not properly supported. Fabio
