RATE: 55/hr LOCATION: Santa Clara, CA DURATION: 9 months SKILLS: * 3 years of hands-on coding experience in PHP/Java/C++/XML * Strong knowledge in at least one scripting language such as PERL * 5 years of outstanding track record as a backend or white box QA engineer * Experience in developing web-based test suites and QA automation tools including developing test automation framework for API and system back-end processes * Experience in HTML, JavaScript, SQL and Unix/Linux * Expert in QA methodologies, procedures and documentation * Experience in load and performance testing of web applications Responsibilities: * Looking for a self-motivated senior backend and white box QA Engineer with strong technical background, experienced in back-end test automation and quality engineering * You will work closely with software developers to understand the product architecture and work on identifying, designing or enhancing existing test frameworks to support backend test development * You will define test automation strategy, review product specifications, develop test harness, automate tests, execute test plans, and participate in defining/selecting appropriate test tools which will help in delivering a high quality product * A successful candidate will have a strong track record of API level testing, developing new automated test suites, evaluating test coverage, and performance benchmarking.
