Are the pieces of this code in different functions? NO, in two different scripts, a.php and HandleFood.php


And be sure you have error checking turned on (once again) so that you
can see if there are missing ones perhaps.  Error checking is on.

What do you mean by "not propagating"?   Not showing up in a subsequent script.
