The one <snip /> well they certainly ripped you a new one didn't they :) why no threads? shared-nothing architecture, that's very deliberate, it has draw backs as well as advantages, either way you have to understand the reasoning and how to leverage it. shared-nothing obviously doesn't lend itself to writing fast daemonized code, then again it wasn't meant to.
