For example: step1.php step2.php step3.php step4.php Or is it just one "dispatcher" script: index.php?step=1 index.php?step=2 [etc.] Or something in-between? Also, have you had a chance to get more information yet from your web access logs? Finally, have you reproduced the problem while watching the network activity using something like tcpdump or Firebug's "Net" tab?
