I've just done some testing where the upload was interrupted after 60seconds with this error: PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 60 seconds exceeded in Unknown on line 0, referer: http://tintin/uploadbig.php I increased time to 240seconds, and had no problem uploading a 1Gb file.
