No offense meant at all, Per, but I actually think the thread is
of interest to a large portion of us here, so I disagree with taking

With all due respect, a lot of things - eg, computer hardware, food -
are of interest to a large portion of the list. I don't want to
discuss computer hardware or food here. This list should be strictly
about PHP issues.
So I have to agree with Per here.
Perhaps a PHP-Personal, PHP-Fun or PHP-OT list could be set up for
such discussions; heck, I might even subscribe to it.
