That's how it works in C.
And Perl.
And Modula-2.
And Ada.
And Pascal.
And even Lisp.

.
.

After you've learned a couple computer languages, the rest are mostly
about "differences" and "gotchas" rather than learning something new.

Ok, except the Lisp/Scheme/Prolog stuff, where you have to think
inside-out. :-)
