I don't really like to, because I run the risk of getting my IP or even netblock blacklisted, but I can't think of any other way to do it if the user doesn't know what carrier the number belongs to. Any ideas on this subject, I'm absolutely more than willing to listen. The way I did it is a hack, no question.... and an ugly one at that. It works, but not at all the way I want it to.
