Best thing to do would be install something like WAMP server and see if that works. Also, you should try <?php phpinfo(); ?>   as your testing page - then you can rule out that it is the software issue and the problem lies with your code.

Save on overseas calls and SMS direct from your mobile. gotalk mobile lets you "Share the Moment" with family and friends overseas when and where you like. Call rates on our Straight Talk Plus plan start from just 1/2 c per min (plus flagfall). Find out more here.

Dear PHP folks

   Have the following softwares in my dell laptop

1.       Windows 2003 SP2 (Enterprise Version)

2.       Apache 2.2 downloaded from Apache.org

3.       PHP 5.3.0 downloaded - VC6 x86 Non Thread Safe (2009-Jun-30 08:52:54)

I don’t seem to understand what is the issue but looks like it has not installed properly as I am unable to execute this simple php page. Kindly let me know how to trouble shoot…

<?php

echo("<h3>Dynamic H3 tag</h3>");

print("<p>a paragraph produced with the print

function</p>");

printf("<p>printf %s, works as well</p>\n",

"(from C)");

?>
