Well,

Both lenses have the same "reach"....., infinity. 

At any distance from the camera the image with the lens at 600mm will be three times the image at 200mm.

I agree withe the auto focus capability.  Then too, what losses will the adapter that allows the telescope to be mounted to the camera introduce ?   Sharpness?
